With a bi-week in soccer, (I lucked out there really, cause I was just going to skip a game) we were able to make it to one of Redhook’s movie on the lawn. They bring out a big, I mean HUGE, inflatable screen and you layout on the grass to watch the movie when it gets dark. There’s a few hills on the lawn so the area can handle a good size crowd. Being at Redhook, of course there’s beer to be drank before hand.

This time, they also had keg bowling. I entered and of course won my round. Got a couple free shirts out of the deal. I didn’t do so well in the finals. But hey, it’s keg bowling, not exactly regulation.

This week to kick off their first 21 and over movie, they selected Beerfest for the showing. Made by the same guys that did Super Troopers. Not the same level as Super Troopers, I can see myself watching this one a few times just for laughs. Don’t expect to watch a ‘real’ movie when watching this. Purely designed just for one liners and often the movie makes fun of itself. Perfect for a movie night at Redhook!
