Sunday Billy picked us with his boat and we spent the day on the water. The weather was nice, but not real hot. This is a good thing though. Kept everybody else home! The water was all ours. Smooth glassy water with just our wake in it!
I enjoyed the smooth water the most when on the slalom. My arms allowed me to get several runs in without becoming completely dead tired. Rode a wake board a few times as well. The board was a newer, higher end, board than previously used. At first, it was a bit squirrelly, but got used to it and learned to like it. The most biggest difference, which is HUGE, is it’s smooth transition when landing on flat water or coming up short and landing on the wake. No bouncing – which means more forgiving landings! Don’t worry, I wrecked quite a bit still. Funny things those boards are.
We kept that boat run’n and pulling riders for a good 6 hours, speakers up. The following clip of John M. sets the tone…
